Amsterdam NL, 17 May 2022 — Hangout with VCs is back for a second edition after successfully connecting Cairo-based startups with international VCs last year. This matchmaking event is the perfect opportunity for investors to take a first step in the Egyptian market, and for startups to engage in investment talks.

In the previous edition, all investors intended to have further meetings with the startups after the event to discuss potential partnerships.
On July 7, 2022, TNW will host the second Egypt edition of Hangout with VCs to bring together top global investors and ready-to-fund Egyptian startups in an online format combining pitching and networking opportunities. The tech giant will once again leverage their knowledge of the global startup ecosystem and their vast network to spotlight new investment opportunities in Egypt.
The event will be held in partnership with the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) of the government of Egypt’s IT Industry Development Agency (ITIDA). The investors have been invited by TNW, and the startups were hand-selected in collaboration with ITIDA/TIEC — ensuring the highest possibility of a successful match at this invite-only event.
