Amsterdam-based TQ moves forward with a stronger international network and platform under the TNW flag
Amsterdam, 15 April 2020 – Today, TNW announces that its tech hub TQ is being fully merged into the main TNW brand. The news reflects a higher ambition and a step forward in the company’s mission to expand and to support the European technology ecosystem.
Founded by TNW in 2016, TQ started off as a curated tech space in the centre of Amsterdam and three years later opened its second location in the South of Amsterdam. With a year-round calendar of events and community-building activities, it now counts over 1000 members across two fully occupied spaces.
Previously operating as a subsidiary brand under the parent organisation TNW, TQ will now be fully consolidated into the main brand, providing the potential for greater impact. Taking advantage of TNW’s global reach and large partner network, the move will result in a much higher visibility for its members and residents, as well as a more streamlined access to the company’s events and programs.
Sophie op den Kamp, Managing Director,: “Over the last three years, our tech hubs have become the physical heart of our operation thanks to our dedicated team and incredible residents. A strong community and network are now more important than ever, and as we’re taking the next steps in our journey and looking at opening new spaces, we believe that moving forward under the established TNW brand is the optimal decision. We look forward to continuing to support the growth of the global tech community in our new capacity.”
TNW is a global digital brand that informs, inspires and connects people who love tech, through media, events, and spaces.
Primarily known for its global media outlet and award-winning tech events, TNW also incorporates a tech hub label and delivers custom innovation programs to corporates and governments.
